Our client, an Upstream Oilfield Services Provider in Nigeria are recruiting experienced Barge Master with Swamp or Jackup drilling rig experience to join their drilling team in Q4 2023 in Nigeria.
Vacancy is open to Nationals and Expatriates
You will be responsible for ensuring that the station keeping, and marine systems are operated safely and effectively, and in a way which re-enforces company values and assures the integrity, reliability and compliance of the asset.
Qualifications/Experience
- At least 5 years of experience as a Barge Master.
- Experienced on Swamp or Jackup drilling rigs.
- STCW Reg ll/2 (Chief Mate) + experience in an FPSO supervisory position.
- Tanker Endorsement (Oil).
- Experience working as a Barge Master on board a drilling vessel is desirable.
- Must be a qualified barge master with Valid Offshore Survival and Stability Certificate.
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Equivalent in Engineering or other related fields.
