Our client, an Upstream Oilfield Services provider in Nigeria are recruiting experienced Chief Mechanic with Land, Swamp or Jackup drilling rig experience to join their drilling team in Q4 2023 in Nigeria.
You will be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical work, tune-ups, engine overhauls, repairs and replaces clutches, brakes and more.
Qualifications/Experience
- 10 years relevant experience with 5years in similar position.
- Land, Swamp or Jackup drilling rig experience.
- Minimum 10 -15 years in onshore or offshore drilling operation.
- BOSIET/HUET/SAS Seaman’s Book Covid Vaccination Certificate.
- Follow strictly the rig mechanical maintenance schedule (PMS).
- Repairs and service all the mechanical components of the rig and accessories. Inventory management of mechanical tools and equipments.
