Our client an offshore drilling contractor is looking to hire experienced Cyber Driller for their offshore jackup rig in Nigeria.
Roles/Responsibility
- Operate drilling and mud circulating equipment as instructed in the well program, and in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Operate all equipment at the Driller’s console in a safe manner – maintain a clean, tidy and hazard free condition on the drill floor and associated area.
- Monitor the well condition at all times (i.e.depth, mud weight, weight on bit). Interpret and respond to downhole conditions.
Requirements:
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- High school level or equivalent.
- A minimum of five (5) years offshore experience working with a multinational Drilling contractor.
- Minimum 3-5 years as a Driller on cyber jack up rigs.
- Valid BOSIET, Seaman’s Book and travel documents
- IADC Well Sharp Driller level
- Stuck Pipe Prevention and Fishing
- Previous experience working on a Baker Marine Pacific Class 375, or similar class of premium jack up is required.
- Exposure to working in an improved drilling efficiency environment, including offline drilling activities.
- Advanced working knowledge of JD Edwards, or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Valid offshore medical fitness certificate (OGUK standard).
