Benedetto Global is recruiting on behalf of a leading Offshore Drilling Contractor for experienced Toolpushers with proven Cyber Jack-Up Rig experience to support offshore drilling operations in Nigeria.
This is a senior offshore leadership opportunity for drilling professionals with extensive operational expertise, strong safety awareness, and the ability to lead drilling teams in high-performance environments.
Role Description
The Toolpusher will oversee all drilling operations onboard, ensuring activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with the approved well programme, operational procedures, and industry regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise drilling operations and all associated activities in accordance with the approved well programme
- Ensure drilling activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and productively at all times
- Lead and manage drilling crews, contractors, and support teams to maintain operational excellence
- Oversee the inspection, maintenance, and repair of drilling equipment and tools
- Monitor compliance with drilling regulations, company procedures, and workplace safety standards
- Coordinate operational activities to minimise downtime and maximise drilling performance
- Ensure adherence to permit-to-work systems, safety protocols, and risk management procedures
- Support operational reporting and planning using JD Edwards or equivalent ERP systems
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years’ Cyber Jack-Up Rig experience in a Toolpusher capacity
- Minimum 8 years’ offshore drilling experience with a multinational drilling contractor
- Valid IWCF Level 3 or Level 4 (Toolpusher)
- Valid Offshore Medical Fitness Certificate (OGUK Standard)
- BOSIET
- Seaman’s Book
- Covid Vaccination Certificate
- Yellow Fever Booklet
- High school education or equivalent
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Advanced working knowledge of JD Edwards or similar ERP systems
